Investment analyst

What you will do

As an investment analyst you will be highly involved in all aspects of a deal making process. The work includes generating deal flow, business analysis and general team support. This involves the following activities:

• Identifying and proactively addressing interesting companies
• Preparation and elaboration of pitch presentations
• In-depth analysis of specific markets and relevant players in the software environment
• Analysis and explanation of business information and preparation of financial models (balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statement)
• Preparation of investment and financing proposals to be presented in our weekly team meeting
• Approaching network partners (e.g. corporate finance consultants, PE investors, etc.)
• Support in the preparation of quarterly reports for our investors
• (Co-)organization of events

What you offer

• A completed master's degree (1-3 years of relevant work experience)
• Knowledge of financial modelling, balance sheet and P&L analysis
• Affinity with Information technology
• The ability to identify problems and the drive to develop tailored solutions
• You have social skills in order to cooperate with other professionals in- and outside the organization
• You have the ability to work independently
• Characteristics such as eager to learn, entrepreneurial, ambitious and flexible are perfect for you
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
