Arcus IT continues buy & build strategy with acquisition of Phylax ICT

Managed service provider Arcus IT, with offices in Zwolle, Rotterdam and Oud Gastel, has acquired Phylax ICT Diensten BV, located in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. As a result of this acquisition Arcus IT expands its geographical coverage in the Netherlands and the company grows to > 130 employees.

In May 2020, Pride Capital Partners has provided a mezzanine loan to Arcus IT to finance the buy and build strategy. Since then, Arcus IT has already realized two successful acquisitions. Next to the acquisition of Phylax ICT, Arcus IT acquired in May Syson Automatisering.

Phylax ICT is, with almost 20 years of experience, a real all-round specialist for ICT solutions for companies in specific verticals such as legal, healthcare and industry. Phylax ICT offers a broad spectrum of services such as design, implementation and management of complete IT infrastructures and cloud services as well as consultancy with respect to IT security and privacy, the modern workplace, productivity, and collaboration within organizations. This fits perfectly within the product and service offering of Arcus IT.

Buy and build strategy

Since inception, Arcus IT already successfully completed 8 strategic acquisitions and is looking to expand by adding new companies to the group. The preferred acquisitions are active in a specific vertical or can add value by means of geographical expansion for Arcus to realize nationwide coverage. Pride Capital Partners will support Arcus IT to realize multiple add-on acquisitions this year.
