GBC Group acquires bytewerk Group

Pride Capital Partners supports GBC Group in its tenth strategic acquisition, welcoming managed services provider bytewerk Group into the growing GBC family of companies. This marks another important step in the long term partnership between Pride Capital Partners and GBC Group, reinforcing our joint commitment to building a leading IT and software services platform.

The bytewerk Group, headquartered in Fulda, consists of the IT system houses bytewerk and Microbee. Together, they offer a comprehensive portfolio of IT services and hardware solutions, with core expertise in IT outsourcing, IT security, IT consulting, and managed services. The company serves a broad base of business clients, providing strategic advisory, operational implementation, and ongoing support.

The acquisition strengthens GBC Group’s capabilities in managed services and deepens its presence in the German IT landscape. It also underlines the effectiveness of GBC’s active buy and build strategy, which Pride Capital Partners continues to support as a long term investment partner.

Simon Weber, former Managing Director of bytewerk, will continue to lead the company within the GBC Group, ensuring continuity for customers, employees, and partners.
