Fivespark is the new name of the former BTC. The IT company, founded 20 years ago, further establishes its position as Managed Services Provider (MSP). The mission of Fivespark is to offer IT solutions through a human centered approach to help companies manage the continuously changing and complex IT landscape.
The newly founded Fivespark wants to make a better connection between smart technology and human support. The company combines five pillars in a chain for IT solutions: adoption, hardware, connectivity, managed services and development. Ray Kemp, CEO of Fivespark speaks of ‘human centered IT’: “companies struggle with complex IT challenges ranging from the need for hardware to data migrations. Remote working is another example of a complex challenge. We believe that these and all other IT challenges can be managed best by focusing on people in relation to IT systems. This is a new approach in this market.”
Human centered approach
“Solid functioning IT has become a basic need”, complements Frank Meerts, CFO at Fivespark. “And that has an impact on all kinds of IT solutions. Of course, Fivespark offers the best fitting products and services at the right moment, in a secure and digital environment. That is what we already do for over twenty years. However, we are rebranding because we believe that the ‘spark’ in organizations lies with the people, that is why spark is in the name of Fivespark. Our services are completely built around a human centered approach. We are an IT sparring partner, service company and trustee.”
Fivespark is the new BTC IT and relies on twenty years of entrepreneurship in the telecom and IT sector. With 2,500 customers, Fivespark is one of the largest Managed Services Providers in the Netherlands. The IT services company has partnerships with Microsoft, Samsung, Apple, KPN, VodafoneZiggo, T-Mobile and Datto. Fast changing IT challenges lead to a new approach, the foundation of human centered IT, and a rebranding to Fivespark in October 2021.
