Architrave GmbH has gained a new investor in Pride Capital Partners. The software investor, headquartered in Amsterdam, is investing in the Berlin-based PropTech, which was founded in 2013. Architrave has a very scalable business model, shows strong growth of recurring revenues and is active in a stable and durable business segment. The loan will support Architrave’s further growth and internationalization. Both parties agreed not to disclose the investment amount.
Lars van ‘t Hoenderdaal (managing partner Pride Capital Partners): “Architrave is one of the technological market leaders in the field of Life Cycle Data Room and Document Processing Software. Together with the management we want to bring this solution further into the German and UK CRE segment in a scalable way. This growth strategy fits very well with our ambitions and experience in other portfolio companies. As a financing partner with strong buy & build expertise, we hope to further support Architrave in its expansion through the acquisition of one or more add-on candidates.”.
Maurice Grassau, founder and CEO of Architrave, adds: “The demand for tidy real estate documentation and automated processes for its management have risen sharply. 2021 was our best year since the company was founded. Our products and services are well on their way to becoming the industry standard. We are using this momentum to tackle our ambitious growth targets. At the top of the agenda are internationalization and inorganic growth through strategic acquisitions. Pride Capital Partners, with its extensive experience and excellent network, is the ideal partner to accompany us on this path.”.
The loan from Pride Capital Partners will enable Architrave to continue its ambitious expansion strategy without diluting its current shareholder structure. By working with Pride Capital Partners, Architrave will receive additional support to establish a local presence in the UK.
