CCIT acquires Discoverr and strengthens Microsoft Business Central with AI and automation

Randers-based Discoverr becomes part of CCIT and gains greater power to roll out its AI and automation solutions for Microsoft Business Central. The acquisition also brings together strong expertise from Inventio.IT, Nubiz, and Danske Bank's development environment.
Odense, 30 June 2026 – Danish IT group CCIT Group A/S has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of Discoverr ApS, a Randers-based specialist in AI, automation, and solutions for Microsoft Business Central. With the acquisition, CCIT strengthens its Microsoft Business Central platform with proprietary technology and expertise in concrete AI solutions that can be implemented quickly and create value in day-to-day operations.
Discoverr is best known for its Magic product family – Magic Core, Magic Bots, Magic UI, Magic DB, and Magic Brain – which builds bots, AI agents, and modern web components on top of Business Central. The solutions automate workflows and enable customers to handle larger data volumes and growth without adding more manual processes on top.
The acquisition also gives Discoverr greater capacity to meet the demand the company is already seeing from its customers. It also reunites a group of specialists with shared roots in Inventio.IT, while bringing in expertise from Danske Bank's development environment.
"On paper this is a smaller transaction, but for CCIT it is truly transformative. Discoverr brings us top-tier AI and automation expertise that connects directly to the Microsoft Business Central platform we strengthened earlier this year with Nubiz. This is precisely the type of capacity our customers are asking for, and now we have it in-house," says Hans Dürke Bloch, Group CEO of CCIT.
From a few hands to greater impact
For Discoverr's customers, the acquisition is first and foremost about capacity. The company has long experienced rising demand for more solutions, more automation, and faster rollout. With CCIT behind it, Discoverr gains the ability to scale the approach that has been at the core of the business: ready-made solutions, practical implementation, and tangible value from day one.
The acquisition also has a particular backstory. Thusan Ceylons, co-founder of Discoverr, and Mathias Holst previously worked alongside Thomas Klavsen – who today leads Nubiz – at Inventio.IT, which was sold to Sweden's Dustin Group in 2019. Thupi Ceylons came from the development team at Danske Bank, bringing a different kind of technical experience into Discoverr. After the sale of Inventio.IT, the team went their separate ways: Thomas built Nubiz into a leading implementation partner within Microsoft Business Central, while Discoverr was developed into one of Denmark's strongest specialists in AI on top of Business Central. Seven years later, the companies are brought together again under the CCIT umbrella with complementary expertise.
"We have long been able to sense that our customers want more from us. They would like us to grow bigger, because they can see the value of what we deliver. With CCIT behind us, we get the chance to scale significantly without losing what makes us special. After Inventio we each built our own business, but we have always shared the same DNA: small teams, world-class work, and no compromises on quality. Now strong expertise is being brought together again, and customers get access to more of what works," says Thusan Ceylons, who will continue as Managing Director of Discoverr once the deal is completed.
A stronger Microsoft Business Central platform
Discoverr's solutions extend Business Central with AI agents, automation bots, and modern data and web layers, fitting naturally with Nubiz's work in ERP implementation and advisory. Together, this gives CCIT a stronger combined platform around Microsoft Business Central, where customers can get implementation, advisory, operations, support, infrastructure, and proprietary AI and automation from a single partner.
"We have long been looking for exactly the expertise found in CCIT, Nubiz, KomplexIT, and Workspace. Together we can automate far more of our customers' business than we could alone. Discoverr also becomes a key player in lifting and accelerating CCIT's AI strategy – both internally within the group and across the customer base," says Thusan Ceylons.
CCIT's board likewise sees the acquisition as a strategic step that strengthens the group's overall offering and the quality of its future earnings.
"Discoverr fits naturally into CCIT. Our customers and mid-sized companies are increasingly demanding strong AI solutions, and demand is growing quickly. With Discoverr's proprietary technology, we can meet that need. At the same time, Discoverr is built on long-standing customer relationships, which makes the acquisition a strong and long-term match," says Bas Welten, board member at CCIT and Co-Head of Nordics at Pride Capital Partners.
From AI ambition to concrete business value
AI ranks high on the agenda for many companies, but the market is still characterised by uncertainty and large, expensive transformation projects. Here, Discoverr stands out with solutions that can be implemented quickly, used within customers' existing Microsoft Business Central environments, and reduce manual processes in day-to-day operations.
"There's a lot of noise in the AI market right now. Discoverr cuts through the noise with solutions that can be used in practice. That is exactly the approach we believe in at CCIT: close to the customer's everyday work, close to the systems customers already use, and with a focus on value rather than complexity," says Hans Dürke Bloch.
The acquisition also follows naturally from CCIT's growth plan for 2026. CCIT closed 2024 with revenue of DKK 319 million and is targeting revenue of more than DKK 800 million in 2026, driven by organic growth and continued acquisitions. The acquisition of Discoverr follows the acquisition of Nubiz, announced in February 2026, and is the latest deployment of CCIT's EUR 35 million senior secured bond, issued in March 2026 to support the group's buy-and-build programme. Further acquisitions are expected before the end of the year.
Founders Thupi and Thusan Ceylons will continue to lead Discoverr as part of CCIT and have reinvested a significant portion of the purchase price into CCIT TopCo A/S as continuing shareholders, alongside Hans Dürke Bloch, Pride Capital Partners, and the broader management group.
